I’m a strategy execution professional in Grand Rapids, Michigan where I enjoy helping organizations achieve their goals efficiently and with scalability.

My exposure to strategy execution began in the U.S. military where I learned from some of the most effective planning and executing teams on the planet. That experience in a high command and control environment provided a base case I’ve referenced throughout my career. From there I’ve worked with private and public companies, K-12 and higher education boards, and local and federal government agencies.

What strikes me as a critical difference between the high and low performers is leadership’s decision to either A) treat execution as a core capability to be studied and improved or B) as an assumption that everyone’s busyness indicates execution is occurring.
